Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former County of Banffshire in Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of the largest single malt producers in Scotland. With the help of his nine children and a stonemason, William Grant fulfills his lifelong dream and builds a distillery that he does named after the nearby Deer Valley "" Glenfiddich "". After only one year, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whiskey flowed out of the copper stills.
Glenfiddich 21 year old Reserva Rum Cask Finish single malt scotch whiskey with 43.2% vol. This extraordinary Scottish "Glenfiddich 21 Year OId" single malt whiskey is refined in a unique way for up to 4 months in hand-picked bourbon barrels that previously contained Caribbean rum. This gives this rare whiskey a rich and luscious cream caramel sweetness.
Intense vanilla sweetness, floral, with notes of banana, fig, rich cream caramel, new leather and oak rise straight into the nose. At the beginning it is very soft on the tongue, then lively, dynamic and dry, peppery, with notes of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices. The finish is very long, warm, dry and spicy.
