Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former county of Banffshire in Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of Scotland's largest single malt producers. With the help of his nine children and a mason, William Grant fulfills his lifelong dream of building a distillery, which he names Glenfiddich, after the nearby Valley of the Deer. After just one year, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whiskey flowed from the copper stills.
The new series consists of four bottlings: Vat 01, Vat 02, Vat 03 and Vat 04.
The Glenfiddich Vat 2nd is a very light whiskey. The aging took place in oak casks and in Spanish sherry casks, which gives it a fruity, spicy and also sweet note.
