Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former County of Banffshire in Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of the largest single malt producers in Scotland. With the help of his nine children and a stonemason, William Grant fulfills his lifelong dream and builds a distillery that he does named after the nearby Deer Valley "" Glenfiddich "". After only one year, on Christmas Eve 1887, the first drop of whiskey flowed out of the copper stills.
An elegant single malt, matured in handpicked former bourbon and European oak barrels as well as Californian red wine barrels, combined in our incomparable Cask Collection Solera barrel for a particularly soft, complex taste.
Tones of summer flowers with hints of creamy vanilla, toffee and a light oak aroma fill the air. In the background a tangy hint of citrus. The taste is very soft and mild with a wonderful balance of oak and the typical Glenfiddich brand character. Sweet and spicy aromas, with hints of freshly ground black pepper.
