Glenkinchie is a whiskey distillery near Pencaitland in Scotland. The Glenkinchie distillery was added to their Classic Malt range by Diageo (then Distillers United) in 1989. Up until then, Glenkinchie whiskeys were more used for blending, although the Distillery near Edinburgh on a tradition that goes back to the founding year 1837.
Notes of cereals and nuts rise on the nose, followed by honey. The palate is fruity, with malt and oak. The finish is medium long, with light grain notes.
