Glenkinchie is a whiskey distillery near Pencaitland in Scotland. The Glenkinchie distillery was added to their Classic Malt range by Diageo (then Distillers United) in 1989. Up until then, Glenkinchie whiskeys were more used for blending, although the Distillery near Edinburgh on a tradition that goes back to the founding year 1837.

This is one of the oldest bottlings to date. This Glenkinchie was bottled for a special release in 2023. This year's bottling is themed 'Spirited Xchange' and is a cross-cultural collaboration with a range of single malts inspired by countries around the world. This unique single malt whisky has been matured for 27 years in American oak refill casks and European oak casks.

 A magnificent floral bouquet blossoms, rich and bright like a delicate masterpiece. The nose initially reveals a fruity aroma reminiscent of apple trees. This is joined by light almond and vanilla aromas, followed by rich grassy notes that further develop the floral theme. On the palate, it is soft and pleasant, initially restrained and sweet, then elegantly dry, with lively spices reminiscent of oak developing.
