Glenlivet is a whiskey distillery near Ballindalloch, Moray, Scotland. The distillery was founded in 1824 as the first legal distillery under the Act of Excise of 1823 by George Smith. The distillery has one mash tun and eight fermentation vats. For The Glenlivet American oak barrels are used in which, for example, sherry or bourbon has already been stored and which give the whiskey its own aroma.

For this special "" Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve "" the distillery had its delicious single malt whiskey matured in Caribbean rum barrels. This post-maturation gives the full-bodied whiskey a significantly sweeter aroma that harmonizes perfectly with the distillery character.

Sweet notes of pear, apple and ripe bananas fill the air. Sweet tones of syrup are added. On the palate, this whiskey is sweet with delicious and intense nuances of caramel and toffee, as well as tropical fruit notes. The finish is soft, perfectly balanced and medium-long.
