Glenmorangie is a whiskey distillery in Tain in the Northern Highlands of Scotland and probably one of the most famous whiskey distilleries. The malt used in the production is unpeated so that no smoke aromas detract from the mild fruity character of the Glenmorangie whiskey. The distillery uses Mainly American oak barrels. First, the raw spirit is filled in (mostly first fill) bourbon barrels for 10 years. Then the whiskey is decanted into bourbon barrels, sherry barrels, port pipes or Sauternes barrels for the finish. Glenmorangie achieves a great variability in the whiskey range.

A classic single malt whiskey, matured in the most popular barrels in Scotland, which combine the sweetness of American barrels with the richness of the Oloroso Sherry Butts.

Aromas of raisins, caramel, orange and soft spices fill the air. In terms of taste, this whiskey is perfectly balanced. It is rich and fruity with a subtle and spicy finish.
