The traditional distillery was founded in 1806 by James Gosling in Hamilton, Bermuda.
This Gosling's Papa Seal Single Barrel Rum matured for a full 15 years in former bourbon barrels in sunny Bermuda. The climate there is ideal for maturing rum and gives it its incomparable Caribbean touch. Each bottle is bottled by hand. This rum has a bouquet of spicy sweetness. On the palate, it is smooth and complex, with aromas of various spices, ripe banana, a good dose of molasses and subtle leather tones. The finish is long-lasting and full of elegance.
