Havana Club Cuban Smoky is a blend of aged Cuban rum bases. One of the bases of Cuban Smoky was matured in white oak malt whiskey casks from the Scottish island of Islay, giving the finished rum extra body, power and complexity. The Cuban Smoky owes its unique smoky taste to this maturation in whiskey casks.

This rum is well balanced and light on the nose, with notes of dried fruit and a delicate smokiness. On the palate one perceives an intense smoky flavor with gentle sweetness and cocoa/chocolate flavors, followed by a lingering dry spiciness. The finish is balanced and elegant.
