The Highland Park distillery is a whiskey distillery in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland in Scotland, UK. It is the northernmost whiskey distillery in Scotland. The distillery has a wide variety of bottlings. All are slightly sweet with notes of heather , Peat, sea air and honey.
This whiskey is stored in American oak sherry barrels, which gives Highland Park its elegant taste.
This whiskey has a strong and complex aroma, with slightly spicy nuances. Notes of vanilla, black pepper, oak, cloves and anise give the whiskey an elegant taste. Sweet and tart notes with strong peat give the Highland Park a nice finish.
