This rum comes from the "Distillerie du Simon", HSE Habitation Saint Etienne from Martinique, France.
The HSE Black Sheriff is a blend of relatively young HSE rums that have been distilled and aged for three to four years in selected ex-bourbon casks from Kentucky, USA.
Sweet notes of spices and fruit aromas fill the air. It is surprisingly balanced and yet meaningful. The woody base of The Black Sheriff also suggests enjoyment. Vanilla from bourbon casks joins sugar cane and hints of spice.
