In 1780 John Jameson opened the doors of the Jameson Distillery Bow St in Dublin. Jameson Irish Whiskey is made by mixing rich pot still whiskey from malted and unmalted barley with the finest grain whiskey, both of which are distilled three times, to ensure smoothness.
Jameson Irish Whiskey is an amazing blend of pot still and delicate grain whiskeys, interspersed with the nutty character of sherry barrels and balanced by the vanilla aroma of bourbon barrels. The triple distillation creates a gentler spirit, perfect for every occasion.
On the nose, Jameson convinces with a slightly floral aroma, enriched by spicy wood and sweet notes. In terms of taste, it creates a perfect balance of spicy, nutty and vanilla notes with a hint of sweet sherry and an incomparable smoothness.
