Johnnie Walker is the Diageo brand of Scottish blend whiskey and the world's best-selling Scotch whiskey. John Walker & Sons acquired the Cardhu distillery on Speyside in 1893, and the company became part of the Distillers Company (DCL) in 1925 , DCL was taken over by Guinness in 1986. Guinness merged with Grand Metropolitan in 1997 and founded Diageo in 1997. Production of Johnnie Walker was moved to Diageo's bottling plants in Leven in Fife and Shieldhall in Glasgow.

This mixture is characterized by a rich fullness and smokiness, layers of honey and fruits as well as an incredibly smooth finish, which is a definite sign of the excellence of this whiskey.

A soft, mild, light smoke and a little sherry rises into the nose. On the palate you can perceive smoky, full-bodied and soft notes. It has an intense taste with aromas of hazelnuts, honey, orange, sherry and dark chocolate. The finish is soft, long and has a light smoke aroma.
