Isle of Jura is a whiskey distillery on the Isle of Jura, Scotland, United Kingdom, based in Craighouse. Originally established in 1810, the distillery was reborn in 1963, reviving a local community.
Jura "Islanders' Expressions" is inspired by the most creative and artistic members of the small island community on Jura.
Matured in hand-selected Citra Pale Ale casks at a craft brewery in Argyll, Scotland, this is a bright, fruity single malt with notes of aromatic hops and subtle citrus. Thanks to our unique distillate refining process, this single malt is characterized by the perfect balance of aromas and refined character, including the typical note of tropical fruits.
Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus fruits and coconut, especially vanilla and nectarines fill the air. On the palate it is creamy and soft with sweet notes of grilled peaches and bananas, joined by notes of ripe passion fruit and mango. The finish is long and slightly spicy.
