Isle of Jura is a whiskey distillery based in Craighouse on the Isle of Jura, Scotland, UK. Originally founded in 1810, the distillery was reborn in 1963, revitalizing a local community.
Jura Seven Wood was formed from seven separate oak woods: Ex-Bourbon American White Oak, Limousin, Troncais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles and Les Bertranges.
An aromatic mixture of coffee, ginger spices and a hint of milk chocolate fills the nose. Caramelized peach, chewy liquorice and candied orange with a hint of sea spray and smoke can be felt on the palate.
