La Hechicera comes from Spanish and means "the sorceress". This rum embodies the breathtaking natural beauty of Colombia, the biodiversity of the Caribbean, the beauty of the landscape and the irresistible allure of a country.
This rum is a blend of rums aged 12 to 21 years in American white oak casks. It is traditionally made using the complex Solera process.
Notes of coffee beans, chocolate, plantains, peppermint and vanilla fill the air. This rum is very fine on the palate and fruity, spicy notes of plum jam, dark chocolate, a hint of chili, black pepper, cinnamon and cassia bark are also very present. The finish is long-lasting and is accompanied by nutmeg, cocoa, pepper and vanilla.
