Ladyburn is a 40 year old single malt whiskey. It was distilled and bottled on November 21, 1974. It is very elegant, exclusive and a true rarity.
The Ladyburn Distillery was a single malt Scotch whiskey maker that operated between 1966 and 1975. The distillery was shut down in 1976.
Notes of liquorice, leather, vanilla and light oak tones rise in the nose. On the palate, it is a full-bodied whiskey with a velvety, oily texture that results in cooked fruits. In the finish you can feel notes of leather.
A very elegant whiskey, in which a really perfect interplay of flavors has succeeded!
