This Lagavulin was bottled for the 2023 Special Releases. This 12 Year Old Special Edition was bottled in Don Julio Añejo tequila casks.
Dense whispers of rich smoke, etched with bright herbs and juicy plums, for an indelible finish. Fresh sea air with aromas of citrus and ripe berries and abundant smoke are perceived on the nose. The texture is smooth and rich with flavors of sweet, juicy plums, a hint of salt and gradually more herbal and smoky components. The finish is sweet and smoky.
