Lagg is the second Isle of Arran Distillers distillery to produce whisky on the Isle of Arran, alongside the Lochranza distillery.
The aromatic and peaty character of this whisky, which is first matured in bourbon casks and then in Oloroso sherry casks for around six months, reflects the earthiness of the first whiskies distilled on Arran hundreds of years ago.
On the nose, aromas of dark chocolate and aromatic red berries are perceived. On the palate, it is rich and flavorful with subtle notes of hazelnut.
