At the beginning of the 20th century, Sir Ernest Shackleton led one of the most famous expeditions to Antarctica. He and his men overcame incredible hardships and dangers. The Shackelton Expedition is one of the most famous events in the history of research and team leadership and has had many adventurers since then inspired worldwide, which led master blender Richard Paterson to create this Shackleton whiskey.

A mix of aromas of applesauce, pears, fresh pineapple, vanilla, a hint of cinnamon, a pinch of smoke, ginger and cane sugar and notes of sherry wood rise into the nose.

The taste profile is also very full. From sweet dried fruits, candied pineapple, spicy, rich toffee, sugar beet syrup to pecans. In the aftermath, you can then perceive a whiff of campfire smoke and chocolate pralines.
