Italian Marco Savio founded the "Malecon" brand in 2000. Its products are made from sugar cane, which is grown and harvested by hand near the winery in Panama. It is processed in the traditional Cuban way. Ideal storage conditions in Panama favor the desired intensive aroma. Malecon Rum is named after a legendary street in downtown Havana where the recipe comes from.

Malecon Reserva Superior 15 Years Rum is a very special rum that has been aged in oak barrels for 15 years to develop its flavor. This gives it a special and intense aroma. In the warm, sunny latitudes of Central America, Malecon Reserva Superior 15 Year Old Rum matures in specially selected caves that are adapted to a very specific climate.

In the nose one perceives a beautiful fruity and exotic aroma. The taste shows clear notes of berries, vanilla and almonds. Cane sugar notes and a light spice are also present here. A great Panama rum with a mild finish.
