Malteco 10 Year Old Rum 40% 0.7 Litre with Malteco 15 Year Old Miniature

Malteco 10 Year Old is a rum from Panama, produced according to a traditional recipe from Guatemala and shaped by Guatemalan rum making tradition. It matures for ten years in selected oak casks on the mountain slopes of Panama.

In the glass, the rum shows a brilliant amber colour. The typical Malteco bottle design with the stylised quetzal refers to the colourful bird that plays a special role in the legends of the Maya and Aztecs.

On the nose, Malteco 10 Year Old shows fine vanilla notes, floral accents and light hints of oak. On the palate, it is smooth, rich and pleasantly rounded with mild sweetness, vanilla, wood and a harmonious rum character.

The set also includes a small bottle of Malteco 15 Year Old Rum. This miniature offers a direct comparison with a longer matured expression, made from pure virgin cane honey and aged for at least 15 years in oak casks.

Malteco 15 Year Old shows a darker amber colour and brings more intense notes of caramel, chocolate and vanilla. This makes the set especially suitable for tasting, comparing and gifting.
