Negrita Dark is a popular dark golden rum from Venezuela. It has been around for over 150 years and is an integral part of the rum industry. The rum is brewed in the Venezuelan town of La Mir and then aged for many years in oak barrels to preserve its rich and complex flavor. The nose is filled with notes of caramel, vanilla and spices. The finish is smooth and leaves a warm feeling in the mouth. The aroma is equally inviting, with notes of molasses, oak and dried fruit.
