This Oban from the distillery on the border between the Highlands and the Islands was bottled for the 2023 Special Releases. This special edition was allowed to mature in Caribbean pot still rum casks, which gives it its great aromatic profile.
A vibrant cacophony of flavors that pulsate with a hint of tropical fruit and a touch of exotic sea air. The strong combination of tropical flavors of sugar cane and mango match the distillery's fruity and spicy profile. Citrus notes combine with tropical fruit flavors and a pleasant dry spiciness. The finish is rich and spicy.
