After double distillation in the still, the Old Forester 100 Proof is aged in burnt American white oak casks for a minimum of four years.
The rich aromas of espresso and dark chocolate fill the air. Added to this are notes of creamy caramel and a hint of liquorice. This whiskey is full-bodied. Here you can clearly perceive the fruity aromas of sweet red apples and ripe berries. This is followed by spices and toasted oak. The finish is light and long.
