Ophyum 17 Años Solera Grand Premiere Rhum is an aged rum from the Dominican Republic. This expression is produced by Oliver & Oliver and comes presented in a gift box.
The rum is made using the Solera method. Older and younger rum distillates are brought together, with the oldest components in this blend aged for 17 years. The result is a rounded, smooth and richly aromatic character.
On the nose, it shows notes of caramel, spices, nuts, dried fruit and fine oak. On the palate, the rum is full bodied and smooth, with hints of raisins, toffee, vanilla, brown sugar, wood and mild spice.
The finish is long, warm and pleasantly sweet, with delicate spicy notes. Ophyum 17 Años is especially well suited for sipping neat at room temperature, over ice or alongside dark chocolate.
