Penderyn Distillery produces award-winning single malt Welsh whiskeys and spirits in the foothills of the magnificent Brecon Beacons mountain range in South Wales.
Penderyn became known for its intensely fruity and soft single malts from Wales.
This Penderyn is aged in ex-peated quarter barrels from Islay in Scotland.
Intense fruit with peaches and sweet apples, along with vanilla and a little smoke fill the air. It is oily on the palate and very complex on the tongue. It is reminiscent of candy. In addition, sweet fruit and light smoke and peat. The finish is medium-long and fruity sweet with well integrated smoke.
