Penderyn Distillery produces award-winning single malt Welsh whiskeys and spirits in the foothills of the magnificent Brecon Beacons mountain range in South Wales.
Penderyn became known for its intensely fruity and soft single malts from Wales.
This Penderyn matures in rejuvenated ex-red wine barriques.
Notes of dark chocolate and cinnamon rise into the nose, along with a little pepper and fruity aromas of apples, mango, bananas and guava. On the palate it is very rich and complex, creamy-soft with notes of vanilla, spicy oak and cinnamon - in the background nutty and a little toffee. It has a long finish.
