Each Plantation Rum is an expression of his Caribbean country of origin. Alexandre has maintained permanent relationships with the best Caribbean distilleries. The name Plantation is intended to reflect the most important terroirs and rum cultures. Plantation is also the owner of the mythical West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and Shareholder of National Rum of Jamaica, owner of Clarendon Distillery and Long Pond Distillery.

Plantation 5 years Grand Reserve Rum is made on the Caribbean island Barbados from different rums. For five years he matures on the island in Bourbon barrels and then he mates in old Cognac barrels on Château de Bonbonnet (Cognac) to his finish.
