The Holladay Distillery, in Holland, invented the recipe for Platte Valley Corn Whiskey in 1856.
Plate Valley Straight Corn Whiskey is made from 100 percent corn. The distillation takes place in the small batch process. To mature, the freshly distilled bourbon is poured into new, not charred oak barrels for 30 months.
The scent is reminiscent of ground grain. In the taste it brings with it aromas of caramel, sweet corn and aniseed. Then he says goodbye with a short, slightly sweet and fresh finish.
