The distillery Oliver & Oliver, based in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, has based its rum production on the Zacapa rum style. In this sense, the Presidente Marti Rum is not dedicated to a president, but to José Julián Martí y Pérez, a legendary person in Latin American history.
This rum matures for up to 15 years in various oak barrels using the Solera method, which gives it a perfect variety of aromas.
Notes of oak wood, caramel and dried fruits fill the air. On the palate one perceives sweet and fruity aromas of spices, vanilla, honey and wood.
