Proper No. Twelve Whiskey is an Irish whiskey brand founded by Conor McGregor. In collaboration with master distiller David Elder, Irish cape champion Conor McGregor created Proper No. 12 Blended Irish Whiskey.
The triple distillation in copper pot stills provides the necessary strength and heartiness of the whiskey. The blend can then be stored for three years in fine, former bourbon barrels, which provide notes of vanilla, honey and roasted wood. The whiskey is blended by the master blender Elder, who marries both grain and single malt whiskeys.
This is a balanced whiskey with nuances of vanilla, honey sweetness and toasted wood, which also form the basis of the Proper Twelve.
