This whiskey comes from the "Midelton Distillery", which also produces Jameson and Tullamore Dew.
The Redbreast 12 year old is an Irish whiskey made using the single pot still method. It then matures for at least 12 years in American bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. These give it its unique taste.
On the nose and on the palate one perceives spicy, sweet notes of fresh fruit and notes of wood. He is very full bodied. Light sherry and roasted aromas are perceived on the finish.
