Irish Redbreast Distillery Lustau Edition is a single pot still whiskey bottled in Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega Lustau in Spain. American and European oak casks aged between 9 and 12 years have been selected for this bottling. This whiskey was then stored for another year in the second phase of maturation in first-fill ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
Aromas of dark fruits, figs, plums and dates fill the air. Added to this are notes of marzipan, oak wood and aniseed. On the palate, this whiskey is creamy and flavorful, with rich notes of sherry, dried fruit and oak. The finish is long and is accompanied by a sweet sherry note.
