A single distillery Fife grain Scotch whisky made from 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley. Ryelaw adheres to the rules for American Rye Whiskey, but in Scotland there is currently no legal definition for Rye Whisky and therefore we cannot legally use this term on the bottle.
Ryelaw is the first release from the InchDairnie Distillery in Fife and is the only whisky in the world made from rye and distilled in a Lomand Hill pot still. It was allowed to mature in charred oak barrels.
Aromas of rye spice come through on the nose, mingling with mild oak and vanilla notes. On the palate, it is peppery with rye, oily viscosity and sweetness of cookies, cereals and dried fruit.
