Consuelo rum is a soft golden rum made from the juice of the first sugar cane pressing. The sugar cane is grown on coastal plantations in the southeast of the Dominican Republic, there is also the distillation. The hot Caribbean sun and the cool seawinds support the maturation process in an ideal way.
Flavors of honey, cocoa and a hint of sweet oats are strongly represented here. But this rum also has light, fruity traces of citrus in itself.
