This whiskey comes from the Bavarian distillery SLYRS from Schliersee, southern Germany.
Pedro Ximénez is a sherry made from ripe white grapes with an intoxicating, fruity aroma and taste. The classic sherry grape is the Palomino grape, which is heavily dried and therefore has a high sugar content during sherry production. The barrels previously held this particular sherry, and the finish gives the whisky a mouth-filling, fruity aroma and provides a smooth finish.Fruity aromas with winter flavors such as dried plums and berries on the nose. The mouthfeel is round and pleasant, with sweet and spicy notes that harmoniously complement the whisky's flavor. The finish is soft and long, reminiscent of raisins.
