Slyrs Rum Cask Finish Limited Edition 46%vol. 0,7Liter

This single malt whisky matured for around five years in American white oak barrels before being transferred to barrels previously used to store first-class rum from the Caribbean. Caribbean rums often have a rich and spicy taste. They mature for months or years in wooden barrels before being bottled, and the barrels absorb the complex aromas of the rum during the maturation process. We then use particularly high-quality rum casks to refine the SLYRS single malt whisky. In the end, the whisky absorbs the typical rum aromas and becomes one of our masterpieces. 

Delicious aromas of caramel, beeswax and cedar wood, as well as malty notes with a hint of chamomile rise to the nose. Vanilla aromas open up on the palate, which then become more intense and combine with roasted notes of orange and honey. The finish is long, full-bodied and is accompanied by subtle woody notes.
