The Talisker Distillery is a whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
Talisker is expanding its range with this smoky whisky. The careful selection of Talisker Storm lager casks is an important prerequisite for achieving a rich and particularly smoky taste.
The aroma is spicy, slightly smoky, sweet and malty, with a hint of honey and a touch of pepper. Like an approaching storm, it builds intensity with its rich and varied flavor. Initially it is light and mild, with beautiful flavors of pear, red berries, sweet malt and honey. It then takes on a spicy edge with strong malt, earthy peat and lots of smoke. The finish is real and warm with a lingering aftertaste.
