A small group of talented skilled workers began to create the typical Speyside malt of the distillery over 50 years ago. Only selected ingredients were used, combined with centuries-old distilling expertise.
After maturing in American ex-Bourbon barrels, the Tamnavulin is given a finish in Spanish Tempranillo red wine barrels. This finish gives Tamnavulin its characteristic sweetness with mild taste notes. Fruity notes of red berries and a slight nuance of vanilla round off the aroma. A full-bodied, light Speyside malt.
