Tamnavulin Distillery opened in 1966 on the banks of the River Livet, deep in the heart of Speyside, Scotland's most famous whiskey producing region. A small group of talented craftsmen began creating the distillery's signature Speyside malt over 50 years ago. Only selected ingredients were used, combined with centuries-old distilling expertise.
Tamnavulin Sherry Cask is a Speyside single malt that received its first aging in ex-bourbon casks with a finish in three different sherry casks.
A fruity bouquet with sweet, green apples, pears, apricots and tropical fruits fills the air. On the palate one perceives a variety of tropical fruit aromas, which are accompanied by a honey sweetness, toffee and almonds. The finish is medium-length and has a fruity profile here as well.
