The manufacturer is a distillery from Dublin. Teeling Single Grain pays homage to this innovative spirit. His really extraordinary style wants to stand out. He focuses on grain whiskey, which is matured in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from the Californian Napa Valley receives an absolutely unique taste. Telling Single Grain Wine Cask is stored exclusively in barrels in which Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from California was previously matured.
The Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey is made from 100% malt whiskey. A selection of five cask whiskeys were used for this release, including sherry, port, Madeira, Pinot Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Intense juiciness of the white grape rises into the nose, together with fresh malt and rolos, which develop into white chocolate. On the palate there is an elegant expression of aromas such as fruit with cinnamon and white pepper and a hint of dried petals.
