Dalmore is a whiskey distillery in Alness, Highland, Scotland. The Dalmore has always set the highest standards in whiskey craftsmanship. The water used in the Dalmore comes from the River Alness, which runs through the small town of Alness, in the The location of Dalmore's Distillery and its soft, floral taste qualify it as a Highland Malt.
The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve benefits from the careful selection of long-aged stocks from three different cask types: ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak, 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks and, on top of that, barriques in which Premier Cru Cabernet Sauvignon has previously matured. With an ABV of 44%, the body, structure and character of this exceptional malt make it the perfect complement to a fine cigar.
Notes of vanilla and red fruits fill the air. On the palate you can perceive aromas of tropical fruits, banana caramel and vanilla ice cream. The finish is slightly spicy.
