The Tottori Blended Japanese Whiskey is bottled in the Matsui Shuzo Distillery in Japan. It ages in oak barrels and is sold as a no-age statement whiskey. Some of the whiskeys are stored in oak barrels for over 33 years before they are bottled. You store in bourbon barrels.
The Tottori Blended Whiskey is aged for at least 3 years in roasted white oak barrels and shows an authentic aromatic profile.
Light spices rise into the nose. Woody, slightly sweet and fruity notes are also added. On the palate there are floral notes, with rich and complex spices, vanilla and chocolate; it is spicy, a little bitter and the notes of caramel and sweet vanilla are also represented. They give the whiskey a long, sweet finish.
