Tomatin is a whiskey distillery located in Tomatin on the eastern edge of the Monadhliath Mountains in the northern Scottish Highlands.
This is a 12 year old single malt whiskey. It is matured in a combination of traditional oak barrels, ex sherry and bourbon barrels.
A rich, fruity aroma is the prelude to sweet aromas of ripe apples, pears and a fine hint of nuts before the long, pleasantly oily finish. Gentle and simple pleasure.
