Tomatin is a whiskey distillery located in Tomatin on the eastern edge of the Monadhliath Mountains in the northern Scottish Highlands.
The Tomatin Metal is the fourth edition of the limited Five Virtues single malt whiskey bottlings.
All 5 elements, such as wood, fire, earth, water and metal can also be found in the production of whisky. This bottling matured exclusively in just filled, former bourbon barrels.
Creamy notes of vanilla, sweet chocolate and aromas of macadamia nuts fill the air. Ripe, sweet citrus fruits paired with balanced spicy notes are noticeable on the palate. The finish is soft and pleasantly light and sweet.
