Tomintoul Cigar Malt Whiskey is a full-bodied, complex and powerful malt whiskey specially crafted by Master Distiller Robert Fleming. Robert Fleming has expertly combined Tomintoul Single Malt Whiskey from select vintages with a rare peated Tomintoul Single Malt Whiskey to strike the right balance. Each of these individual single malt whiskeys is either fully aged or finished in hand selected Oloroso sherry casks sourced from partner cellars in Andalucia, Spain.
Tomintoul Cigar Malt is also known as Tomintoul Cigar Malt Parejo because it was created to be the perfect 'parejo', Spanish for 'partner', of the finest cigars in the world.
Notes of dried fruit, sweet spices and peat smoke fill the air. On the palate it is sweet with notes of chocolate, raisins, butterscotch, blackberries and black pepper. The finish is long and here one perceives notes of mocha, maple syrup, smoky oak.
