Tomintoul is a whiskey distillery based in Ballindalloch, Moray, Scotland. The House of Tomintoul produces a range of very elegant whiskeys. Tomintoul Distillery was built in 1965 in the scenic Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands.
The altitude, fresh mountain air and spring water combine to create a sweet and complex single malt. The freezing conditions in winter mean the Cairngorms are one of the few places outside the arctic where tundra areas exist. Cold and windy with sub-zero temperatures in winter result in a vibrant life in summer where wild flowers and animals thrive in this unique landscape.
Tomintoul Tundra was born into this challenging environment. It is an elegant, balanced and creamy single malt, fully aged in American oak bourbon casks.
