The Tullamore Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery in Tullamore, Ireland.
Considered one of Ireland's finest whiskeys, Tullamore Dew was first distilled in 1829. It is world famous for its soft and subtle complexity. On the one hand, this comes from the triple distillation and the leisurely aging in both old bourbon and sherry barrels, in which the unmistakably soft character unfolds. The combination of all three types of Irish whiskey ensures the gentle complexity. Malt and pot still whiskey give it the spicy citrus note.
The bouquet is spicy, accompanied by a citrus aroma with malty notes and wood tones. The taste is very soft, buttery and well rounded. There is also a strong citrus note here.
