Wild Turkey is an American Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced in the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The Bourbon is aged in white American oak barrels that are very heavily charred. The bourbon itself ages in casks for six to eight years.
The bouquet is rich and powerful. Notes of vanilla and caramel rise directly into the nose and are accompanied by a little tobacco, honey and oak. A powerful body with an intense taste is evident on the palate. The finish offers an interesting composition of sweetness and spice.
